The only errors I saw in the build process was with directfb build with the sysfs USE flag. Make sure you build DirectFB with USE=”-sysfs”

echo dev-libs/DirectFB -sysfs >>/etc/portage/package.use

After doing some checking it seems like the problem is really a part of the DirectFB itself.

There is a simple patch for this problem that I will submit to gentoo bugzilla, stay tuned.
